The Dewi-Prys Thomas Award<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Dewi-Prys Thomas Award 2025 winner was announced at the RSAW Welsh Architecture Awards Ceremony at Cornerstone, Cardiff on 22 May 2025.\u00a0 Seven entries were received, which included a wide range of projects from all around Wales including private houses, the restoration and repurposing of historic buildings, town planning schemes, regeneration initiatives and public art installations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Winner:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manalo & White for Nyth, the creative reuse of a redundant grade II-listed Victorian church in Bangor, enabling a new sustainable community use, and contributing with Fr\u00e2n Wen to the development of arts and culture in Wales,  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prize:<\/em> bronze medal and prize certificate<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professor emeritus Nancy Edwards, former Chair of the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jonathan Vining; architect, urban designer, commissioner for the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historic Monuments of Wales and trustee of the Dewi-Prys Thomas Trust<\/p>\n\n\n\n
